ebay was formed to provide a market place for people to sell items that they no longer wanted. This year ebay has changed its focus with a couple of schemes to make more profits from the sellers. Ebay started with "free shipping" and they are ecouraging sellers to list items as "free shipping." They know that sellers will need to increae the listing amount which is where ebay make thier money. In addition, ebay does not allow sellers to leave anything but positive comments about buyers. Buyers are now allowed to leave negative feedback about shipping costs or anything else that is not product related.

Ebay no longer responds to sellers that complain about feedback left by buyers for any reason. A seller is allowd to make statements about shipping costs, after they willingly bid on the auction. A new form of extortion is being developed on ebay with buyer threatening sellers to reduce the final auction shipping and handling fees.

Ebay is now pushing to have a payment scheme that uses only paypal a paymnet service that they own so that they can capture 100% of the fees.

This is just another example of American CEO greed.
