Many of you are not only becoming a part of the CNN
newsgathering process but are also reporting from the scene LIVE!
Last night, after Sen. Barack Obama's acceptance speech at
the Democratic National Convention, iReporters
Zennie
Abraham and
William
Gilbane III , still on-scene in Denver, were joining Nicole
Lapin and Reggie Aqui via phone on
CNN.com Live .
"What a great speech…a really fantastic speech,"
Gilbane told Aqui, as viewers looked at an image that Abraham had
sent in from his mobile device. "I think that tonight and this
whole convention week … with the tribute to Senator Kennedy
and Hillary's great speech… we just saw tonight Barack Obama
become a great president"
Keep your on scene reports coming and you too could find
yourself on the air…

Governor Palin has dealt with Canada on oil issues. She has dealt
with Russia on fishing rights issues. She has cleaned up dirty
politicians. she has fought the oil companies. She has managed
Alaska's budget. she has burned down pork. she takes a side of an
issue and doesn't vote present. what has Obama accomplished??? he
is all talk...reminds me of Elmer Gantry. Obama says she has no
experience... what a joke he is

I am so happy that John McCain made this pick. Someone said this
morning what makes this women qualified to be commander and chief?
The McCain people said "well, she is a mom with a son in the
military" Are you kidding me!! It doesn't really matter anyway,
since John McCain at the age of 72 is showing signs of first stag
alzheimers and he can't remember how many houses he owns, give it a
week, he will probably appoint six other people to be his VP and
will have to be reminded that he has already appointed someone.

Thank you Johm McCain! To borrow a phrase from a remark made to Dan
Quayle,"Sarah, You are no Hillary Clinton! So thank you John for
your laughable pick and ludicrous comparison of Sarah to Hillary to
lead our nation. If your health, or mind fails Uh Oh! As a Girl
Scout leader.... she's fine! Potential President OOps!You have
alienated many women today and underestimated us. This is as
ridiculous and dangerous as your Iraq policy!

I feel like McCain made this pick to try and take away some of the
"hype" from Obama after his speech lastnight, however, all McCain
has done is further prove to many Americans that he is not ready to
run this country. His age has been a huge issue thus far and now it
seems that his judgement is also going to be questioned. How can
you exepct someone who is 72 years old to take care of this
country; not to mention someone who has picked someone anyone
outside of Alaska knows nothing about?
McCain didn't make a bang with this choice, in fact it was more of a bust and it's a big gamble that he has taken.

At this point SOMEBODY needs to state the obvious, to quote Lloyd
Bentsen here; Sarah Palin comparing herself to Hillary Clinton is
like Dan Quayle comparing himself to John Kennedy. Sarah Palin, you
are no Hillary Clinton. While she may someday convert the party of
Rush Limbaugh back to the party of Dwight Eisenhower, it is clear
this is a cynical attempt to draw away any Hillary voters. I don't
think Hillary fought as hard as she did just to hand over that
legacy to someone who is diametrically opposed to her political
views, and I think Hillary voters know the difference even if Rush
Limbaugh doesn't.

This is ridiculous. To think that this woman who I am sure is a
wonderful pick by any means compares to Hillary is a slap in the
face. Hillary has decades of experience with women's issues and
WOMEN'S RIGHTS! McCain has officially turned this into a GAME.
Sorry to say, but if McCain somehow callapses think about it... CAN
SHE RUN OUR COUNTRY WITH SUCH INEXPERIENCE? WOULDN'T BIDEN BE
BETTER? oh, and I counted three blacks in McCaine's announcement.
Is that the diversity we want? No diversity?

I still cannot wrap my mind around John McCain picking Sarah Palin
has his VP. Even if it was a moment of insanity for the aging
candidate he had a group of people around him who still thought
this was a good idea. She is a slap in the face to ALL women
especially Hillary supporters. Sure it would be great to have a
woman make history but you can't just pick any woman off the
street.
Like him or hate him, John McCain is OLD and in the event something happened to him I would not feel comfortable with Mrs. Palin being our commander and chief. People vote for the top of the ticket this is true, but you have to be confident that the country will be in good hands if something happens to the president. This pick is unwise and a slap in the face to women. I have long been an Obama supporter. Now, as John McCain has shown his "judgement" it is clear that Obama Biden are the only choice in November.

I'm not a politician, so I don't need to make happy talk about
McCain's vice presidential pick.
First, this is no huge barrier coming down. In 1984, Democrat Walter F. Mondale selected Geraldine Ferraro to be his running mate in the Presidential election. We can all be elated that it has taken the Republicans only 24 years to catch up. Second, speaking for myself, my daughters, my mother and my women friends who were early supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton for President -- none of us are even slightly intrigued by John McCain's choice of a first-term right-wing Alaska governor as his running mate. It is not just the allegations of abuse of power in firing Alaska's commissioner of public safety, but the anti-choice, anti-gay, pro-NRA, promotion of oil and gas drilling at the expense of all else, including the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), that makes us unenthusiastic. Think about it for a minute, is appointing Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court the same as appointing Thurgood Marshall? Let's not assume that women are so naive that any woman will do.

The opposition we are getting on Palin is the Zenith of Democratic
Hypocrisy. We have an inexperienced Dem. Presidential Candidate
with an "experienced" VP. The Dems are making the case that this
election is about the President. Where as we have an Experienced
Rep. Candidate with a VP who has more experience than the Dem.
Presidential Candidate - The Dems are saying Palin wouldn't be
ready to be President, like McCain is already Dead. The Obama camp
is freaking out because they know they botched it by not putting
Clinton on the Ticket - It would have been hands down victory for
the Dems - Thanks Obama for the Victory we will enjoy in November.

John McCain has done an excellent job of insulting women across
America. If he thinks that simply by picking a woman he will get
the disgruntled Hillary voters, he should think again.
I have talked to many women that would have voted for Hillary and they are insulted that such a move was made to try and sway them to his side. Governor Sarah Palin has only been in that position for 2 years and has no prior legislative experience, except as a Mayor in a small town in Alaska. The whole state of Alaska has less than 1 million people and her challenges do not qualify her for the presidency. I know that she is not on the ticket as the President, but I recall the phrase "a heart beat away from the Presidency." Can John McCain seriously say that if he becomes unable to fulfill the office of the President that IN HIS JUDGMENT ex-Governor Sarah Palin should become Sarah Palin, President of the United States of America? This is just another example of John McCain's poor judgment.

Josh, your recent reporter, made the comment that this was a
democracy on CNN, however when you constantly hand-pick reports or
comments that highlight questionable aspects of Palin and do not do
the same for Biden, that is not a democracy.
Your 'elect Barak at all cost' agenda and use of your position in media to try and influence thought is disgusting. You are selecting a view with the mild undertone of attempted fairness to present to your public in order to sway the direction of our thinking and you assume we are stupid enough to believe that you are truly using journalistic ethics. You did not throw Biden under the train the way you are Palin and it is extremely transparent the unreal and disappointing bias. You can't find anything substantially negative about her and it is driving the mainstream media crazy that now the Republican party is united and a formidable opponent to the Democrats. Calling up an obviously democratically influenced newspaper editor to give a ho-hum report about her is so low. Let's get some real reporting. You are using tactics to try and keep attention on Barak's momentum like constantly re-showing his footage from the convention, which became old news this morning when McCain announced his running mate. Let's see if you give the same coverage and ability to constantly see any clip from the Republican Convention days after it has happened. The only way that will happen is if someone happens to trip and fall or embarrass themselves. Your insinuation of her lack of commitment to her children or her inability to mother a sick or differently-abled child is absolutely despicable. Don't forget that conservative women voters are a mighty force proven in the last election. The more you go after her the more conservative women, working women and mothers will rally to her side. It sounds like you are trying to imply that a former hockey mom isn't smart enough or capable enough to be the VP or President. Seriously, what has Barak done? And you trying to get him elected President? At least she has been doing something in her two years of being governor other than campaigning for President. At least she understands what it feels like to know you have to work to not loose your healthcare because you do have a child depending on you. No one in this election can understand and relate to the public better than Sarah Palin. And yes, the many feminist left-wing supporters are right, she isn't Hillary....Thank God! She is better! She has actually run a state government and done so well with integrity and honesty. She has something to show for her two years other than showing up to speak at community events. And here's the thing, she and Barak are both deficient in foreign affairs but she's not running for the Presidency and she at least as someone like McCain with his extensive experience to learn from. You guys can't stand the fact that McCain has swept the momentum away from Barak and now has a chance. Really you are just fueling the Republican party even more by your blatant bias. I am not a supporter of John McCain and I don't really care what his motivation for choosing Palin. Last night I was planning on writing Mike Huckabee's name in on the ballot, but seeing that McCain has the good judgement to choose someone like Palin, I will be voting for him, fully hoping that in four years she will become our President.

McCain I think is very shrewd. Think of all those women voters who
were so disappointed when Hilary didn't make it. Now they have a
woman to vote for. I think he asked her to be VP not based on
experiance but on her gender alone. Hopefully it doesn't work...Go
Obama.

I'm not sure how anyone could say that McCain's pick for his VP
running mate is "shrewd or brilliant". It was the ONLY choice he
had ! Listening to NPR radio two weeks ago, my 10 year old daughter
shouted from the back seat of our car "Mommy he needs to pick a
lady!" Dah, you think??
Unfortunately, what my daughter and obviously John McCain don't understand is -- any lady just won't do. The man is grasping for straws. I am a proud feminist but this choice is an insult...

I think at this time in our history, the team of John McCain, and
Sarah Palin, is the right choice to help us bridge our country to
the next level in our democracy, and our politics.
Senator McCains judgment to pick the youthful, and energetic Governor Palin to run with him is a masterful decision. I believe she is the perfect choice to help him win this election. Way to go John McCain!!

I'm a Hillary Clinton Democrat. If McCain thinks that his pick for
VP will entice me to vote Republican, he is crazy! Considering his
age and health, the odds are that he won't live through his entire
term. This woman is less experienced and less prepared than Obama
to be our President. This is almost an insult to the intelligence
of women, thinking that we'll just blindly vote for McCain because
he has a woman for a running mate! Women of America are smarter
than that!

McCain has once again proven that he does not have the judgement to
lead our country doing such perilous times. Choosing Palin as a

Democtatic VP canidate, however McCain has disapointed me during
his entire campaign. First, he became the change canidate only
after Obama energizeded people with his message of change. Now
McCain has given up on his experience arguement by picking someone
with even less experience than Mr. Obama. If Mr. Mcain and his
ticket is going to morf into the Obama ticket I may as well vote
for Mr. Obama.

Our forefathers wisely put only two requirements for President. It
was written that way so that any 35-yr old American citizen could
be Preesident. The only people who are qualified to be President
are past presidents! Not even the longest-living Washington insider
is totally qualified to be President until they are. That's the
beauty of the Constitution. It gives room for unjaded, open minds
with different life experiences to come in and try new things. Our
government is stale. The power that's been taken from the people is
overwhelming. Inexperience is a Plus. Honesty and integrity is a
refreshing 'change' that I don't see in Obama. Let's give Palin a
chance to talk before we go against her.

Kreitton,
As an interested Canadian viewer I don't follow the argument that Palin's inexperience damages the GOP ticket. I wouldn't go there if I were a Democrat as the same argument can (and has)been used against Obama.Canadians may be having an election this Fall. The Liberal leader (your Democrats), Stephane Dion, has experience but is perceived as a weak leader against the Conservative, (your Republicans), Stephen Harper, current Prime Minister (who had less experience than Dion at the time of his election). The majority of Canadians feel the country is headed in the right direction under Harper's leadership (according to the polls).

Every four years America participates in a political charade called
the presidential election. The two political parties -- and
sometimes the independents -- howl and scream about how and why
their candidate is the right one to lead the good ol' U.S.A. out of
whatever trouble it has manage to get itself into during the
previous four years. But who among us is really "qualified" to be
president? On what basis do the Obamarites and McCainites believe
their candidate can and will do X, Y and Z, and in doing so will
result in good fortune for the country collectively and each
citizen individually? How on earth can anybody really believe and
profess electing Obama or McCain will actually "be good for the
country?" Both men have established records via thei service in the
U.S. Congress, but neither have ever served as president. So how
can we say definitively whether the election of one or the other
will prove fruitful or disastrous? Well, that depends on a whole
bunch of stuff over which we citizens really have no control.

With Palin picked to be the VP we may get some the attention that
Alaska deserves. Now the lower 49 may realize that we are more than
just a colony for you to plunder our natural resources. Keep in
mind that the Global Weather Change has caused Alaska to have the
coldest summer on record- this will have a direct impact on the
massive resource extraction that keeps your economy going while at
the same time keeps our fuel and ALL related costs skyrocketing.

you! We don't need the United States of America to turn into the
Communist States of Amerika!

Regarding John McCain's running mate, Alaska Governor Palin, I for
one am strongly in favor of his choice. You do the math - I read
that B.O. has cumulatively spent 144 days conducting the business
of our government. Governor Palin, assuming she took office on 02
January in 2007, and using the traditional work calendar of 252
work days in a year, and based on this being the 35th week of 2008,
she has likely spent 426 cumulative days conducting the business of
Alaska. Seems to me she had almost three times the experience as
B.O. when it comes to actually "governing."
If "experience" is going to be the watch word of this campaign, worst case scenario what John McCain did was create an experience quid pro quo between Biden and himself, and B.O. and Governor Palin. I prefer to have the most experienced as the number 1 and not the number 2. . . .

I agree with the person from Toledo OH who was talking about the
risk McCain and company accused the Democrats of making with Sen.

been a governor for two years! If McCain is disabled, would you
want this inexpereinced woman running the country? I wouldn't.

What a hypocrite!! Money spent on carefully - or poorly (however
you decide to look at it) thought out ads, discrediting Obama's
experience for the Presidential seat; adding clippets from
Hillary's debates/speeches in confirmation. Yet, how do you explain
your choice for your VP pick? Is this a game for you? It's just
about votes for you. I understand this is a competition; apparently
so do you. You're looking for the votes (She said so herself -
lol), not someone that could actually assist with your potential
run. Will she be the notetaker at the roundtable discussions?
I don't get it. It seems as though you've put the 'competion' ahead of America's NEEDS! Bet you didn't expect these reactions, did you? Your first, major decision, before the candidacy.... And this what you come up with? I can just imagine the next ones to come.

A sheet of glass.
It is obvious what Senator McCain is doing. I can look right through this and see Hillary supporters all over the place. This was just an attempt to win over females and Hillary supporters. A very transparent move. In addition to this choice being transparent, it further demonstrates Senator McCain's lack of judgment as well as a lack of judgment by Governor Palin. I hope and pray that it never happens, but in the event that Senator McCain is unable to complete his term, how will Governor Palin be able to step up and take charge of the country. This woman has a child who requires special needs. In the event that she has to take over, somebody is going to get neglected - the country or her children. As I said, a lack of judgment on her part as well an on the part of Senator McCain.

Why vote for the Obama/Biden "ROBIN HOOD ECONOMIC PLAN'
of taxing the rich to give to the poor? Someone explain to my why we are not generating U.S. income to pay for the programs we desperately need from: A) Collecting money from countries that owe us money B) "Increasing" the tariff on ALL products imported by 1% and 1 1/2% for American companies that moved out of the country and "took our jobs with them". By doing that, they also eliminated the IRS taxes they would be paying, thus, further reducing U.S. income for the programs we need for our citizens. c) Across the board cut our foreign aid by 3%. If we can't financially take care of ourselves, how in the world can we afford to take care of the world financially? D) With the incredible info age, I can sit in my kitchen and talk with someone on the other side of the world, so why do we still have so may representatives in the House and Senate. Every single state should have ONE REPRESENTATIVE IN EACH, THE HOUSE AND SENATE!!! Imagine the incredible millions of dollars we would save on their salaries, healthcare, expenses, houses in Washington WE PAY FOR, and their incredible retirement programs that we also pay for. We need to get back to basics people. Oh yeah, and how about offering these jobs (House and Senate seats) to our so called "PUBLIC SERVANTS" with a salary THAT "EQUALS" and not exceeds the AVERAGE INCOME OF THE STATE THEY REPRESENT---WOW WHAT A SAVINGS! They would actually have to live like You and Me!!!That would really weed out tons of politicians who don't really have the drive, or the heart of the people at hand. Of course, this would never happen, and you'll never hear about any of these ideas on tv or from Washington! Glad to be talking with all of you. These ideas aren't a burden on any U.S. citizen and could easily be implemented if our representatives have the guts to stick up for all of us, I don't care if they're democrats or republicans. Just everyone, stop bleeding the American Citizens into bankrupcy!

Didn't we get "enough" of "shock and awe" at the start of the Iraqi
invasion??? We don't need anymore! I am utterly profoundly insulted
by this pick, it just goes to show that John McCain is only
concerned about winning the election by any means necessary. I
seriously wonder how much thought went into this, I echo Barak
Obama when he said that he simply doesn't get it. John McCain's
ambition and sense of entitlement to the presidency has clouded all
sense of reason. This is the is the worst example of campaign
pandering in recent history. My problem is not that he chose a
woman as his VP pick, it's that he picked an unknown and untested
woman for the job.
After weeks of complaining about Senator Obama's inexperience, he goes out and finds the most inexperienced running mate out of the whole bunch, I would have had more respect for him if he had gone with his heart and chosen Joe Lieberman or Tom Ridge. Who is this woman, we know nothing about her! It is not enough that she is female, what are we stupid??? Race or gender should NEVER be a criteria for the second most important office in the world, the American people see right through this smoke screen and want some one who is TRULY EXPERIENCED and READY to lead on day one! While we celebrate Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's historic 18 million cracks in the highest hardest glass ceiling, is it really to the Country's benefit to gamble on a woman who may have the opportunity to "shatter" the glass but won't have the goods to govern after the fact? God forbid that anything should happen to John McCain should they win the White House because the shattered glass will quickly be viewed as a dangerous mess! I am a mom and a military wife whose husband is headed to Iraq for a second time and I am not impressed. NO MORE SHOCK AND AWE (DISAPPOINTMENT!!!) WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH! Gov. Palin you are no Hillary Rodham Clinton!!!!

On equal pay: It is but a single point of many that hugely needs
rectifying. By the way, my first vote (had I been allowed to vote
within the Democratic Party to get to this point in time) would
have been for Hillary. Back on topic: McCain needs a serious
reaming when he voices the opinion that it would cost the big
companies too much money (with a string of follow up litigations)
if the courts sided against Good Year and not for women and equal
pay for equal work. That kind of cost is exactly what it is going
to take to solve the problem! Hit the big companies in their pocket
books (it is the only thing profit oriented entities understand)
and while the courts are at it move to require all pay scales and
salaries transparent as a point of law for all companies in the
U.S. When companies cannot hide you have the problem immediately
solved and don't have to talk about a grace period or window of
opportunity to litigate to do the right thing!

I think what Palin says about McCain is he completely has no
judgment. Who picks someone they have known for only 2 days to a

Now he can't promote himself by saying he has good judgment. Making
this choice shows he absolutely has NO judgment.

By the way, when did "hope" as part of the voting criteria become
something that we as an individuals or as a nation should not give
serious consideration. Interestingly enough, every large business
management team recognizes that "attitude" and "desire" are the
most important driving factors for success (even over a tool bag
full of academic education for comparison purposes). In oil
refineries it is clearly understood that an excellent safety record
cannot be achieved without first developing an excellent attitude
towards safety (as in no attitude, no safety education gained). The
same goes for any sports team, or individual like Tiger Woods, and
so on. It is difficult to put a finger on those two words and/or
concepts but when you see it in people it immediately becomes
obvious. A successful forward thinking attitude combined with
desire and the hopes many has moved mountains to accomplish goals
never thought to be had. I am certain you can name a few examples
of such motivating world leaders and the resulting teamwork of
accomplishments. Such a thought process in everyday life typically
moves a glass from being half empty to half full. The next step
achieved is called "success". Hope is an expression of one's dreams
and I am better with them than without.

After reading the previous dialog about what MAY be wrong with
Sarah Palin's selection, I have to comment on the fact that SHE is
a remarkable woman to always be the for-front of doing the things
that make her squad, school, city, and STATE, become more efficient
at the lowest cost. Isn't that what we want for our country? ? She
has the drive and knowledge to get it done within a state that no
one knows much about. MAYBE THATS THE CHANGE THIS COUNTRY NEEDS.
Alaska has been quite too long. Hillary was way too boisterous towards her drive to be on the ballot. Bill is her anchor.... his assistance to her would still remain as what is " IS " ....to our country. Would Hillary try to out do Bill Clinton when he had no regard to embarrass AMERICA to the world.

I saw your note that many of the postings focus on John McCain's age and that no one is mentioning that Barack is half-black. First of all, being half-black means that you are also half-white. The influence of being African is no different that the influence of being German or Spanish or French or Italian - except for those who believe that those from Africa are less capable than those from any other country. So racism is segmenting and categorizing people based on their race or ethnicity. Age has nothing to do with race or ethnicity. Secondly - John McCain has just turned 72 today. He is old by anyone's standard, which means he has a higher chance of becoming uncapable of serving under the pressure of the Presidency than someone roughly half his age. This brings to bear the question as to whether Governor Sarah Palin has the domestic and international experience to take over (by default - not by election) if John McCain were to become uncapable of serving. Age is not race and race should not be an issue. Age is an issue when the person is 72 years old and the job is the stress-filled position of POTUS (President of the United States).

Senator McCain lost my vote today. I know at least 5 other women
who feel the same way. Was his selection of a woman an appeal to
women voters? The women I know want what is best for our country,
regardless of gender. Mr. McCain needs to understand the
intelligence of women and we are not "snowed" by this trick. He
should have picked his running mate based on who would be best
qualified to lead this country in his absence. Women are concerned
about the economy and about keeping their children from being
involved in a senseless war in Iraq or any other mis-guided war for
that fact. We are concerned about healthcare and caring for our
elderly parents, who rarely get a break financially. His selection
of a running mate is an appeal to ignorance and it is an insult to
women voters, no matter what their party affiliation. While I have
been against Obama throughout this election...I say, "Go Obama!"

Rock on Sarah Palin! What a fresh face with true, proven change on
her resume. The work and anti-establishment practices that she has
put into place in a true old boys state like Alaska, are simply
remarkable.
Hillary cannot even stand in her shadow. What has she done? Stood by her cheating man? And Obama? Has anyone watched The American President, lately? Obama has! Did they teach stealing drama movie lines, as authentic speech writing at Harvard?? Andrew Shepherd's (Michael Douglas) make believe world and points from his make believe "Presidential" speeches were alive and well, last night. I was waiting for Annette Bening to come in off Dupont Circle and sweep Obama off his feet. No answers, just drama and fireworks hype. Maybe the money that was spent last night could have been spent on supplies for our school children or one of the other liberal causes. Although, it looks as if screen play is going to be a large cause for the Obama/Biden team. He speaks well, he stands up straight and the columns were reminiscent of ancient "rulers", but a man of substance and rational decision making skills for this country, he is not.

In regards to Sarah Palin, A republican strategist was asked by
Wolf 'why are you so excited and confident with Sarah as the VP
choice". He said, she is a wonderful woman. She came from
middle-class roots, worked, has five kids and has balanced it
all......guess what, me too. I have four kids, a master's degree,
and work a full-time job. I balance it all too and am proud to say
I have well-adjusted kids who are happy and do well in school. I
want to know why I wasn't condsidered for VP slot. If that is all
they got we are in trouble. Point is this country is full of
wonderful woman who have learned to "balance it all", doesn't mean
we are ready to be commander in chief. Women Rock! Go Obama!

With the choice of Gov. Palin as VP the republicans have assured
the WhiteHouse to the Democrates and that is really good news for
the US.
Doesn't gov Palin look like tina Fey?

EXECUTIVE, maybe you should run for office! I like that Gov. Palen
turned down the money for the bridge to nowhere, even though
Congress tried to force it on her. Which reminds me, NOBODY talks
about smaller government anymore. Remember those non-November
election days, the ones people let slip by? That's because things
'we, the people' USED to vote on, we just let Congress legislate.
The bigger the government gets, the more we lose our liberty.
Government is becoming the parent that never lets the kids stray
too far, and we've gotten too lazy, confused, or something to
rebel. Where are our protesters? We blog, silently in our rooms,
hoping maybe someone will come along and save us all. Well, maybe
it will happen. And maybe, just maybe, it'll be a woman.

I also balance it all, a career that has given me more satisfaction and pride than I ever imagined , a child who is independent and excels and a successful husband. But, I have not taken on the establishment and called BS on corruption, pork bridges, and had the courage that Sarah Palin has for the greater good. That is why she is a great choice for VP, and I am a great choice to support her. Your envy or bitterness has made you lose sight of the fact that she knows your plight and the battles you face everyday and she is willing to put her neck on the line to fight for you. She is not a life long, narcissistic political machine. She is a real person, fresh from real life and is willing to put her neck on the line and her money where her mouth is...... WOMEN DO ROCK AND OBAMA IS NOT A WOMAN AND HAS NEVER WALKED THIS PATH. You should reconsider.

As sure as the sun will come up tomorrow, CNN has again kept it's
bias against republicans. When the holly one picked his running
mate CNN as a company almost passed out. Obama could have picked
Satin himself and they would have loved him for it but, when Mccain
picks a woman they can do nothing but ask questions about her
qualifications. If they want an argument about qualifications they
really need to look at the Hooly one running on the wacko left
side. Come on America, look into your soul. You know whats right.
And if you don't see the bias then we are all doomed. I guess we
can all become good little "Comrades" like CNN would want us to do!

I think it's great that Gov. Palin was chosen by John McCain to be
his V.P. running mate! People want change, but Barack Obama isn't
the answer!
I just heard on cnn that most women tend to vote democratic, as a woman & the mother of 4 women we all vote conservative which doesn't usually include any democrates.

As a woman, I am shocked and saddend by McCain's choice. We are not
pawns. I am embarrased for Palin! This is a very bad tactic on
McCains part -- Shame on Him! We wanted a woman named Hiliary
Clinton who had an incredible knowledge base and EXPERIENCE. This
unknown person cannot and will not replace Hiliary. Palin doesn't
even come close to Hiliary. Boy, talk about contradicting
yourself... McCain said numerous time, "Obama is not experienced"
but selected who has not even been in the political arena nor can
even spell it.
Deeply sadded in VA! | |

You mindless Obamanite Dems are already attacking John McCain and
his brilliant choice of Sarah Palin because you are really worried
you might loose the presidency again! The Republicans LOVE her and
this choice WILL surely energize the conservative Republican base
to come out and vote FOR McCain they were not all excited about
before.

Dems are not worried about losing the Presidency. We are
sooooooooooooo energized. Let's do the math -- how many people does
it take to show up to a grand finale -- ummmmmmmmmmmmm 85+
thousand. How many people tuned into this grand finale ---
ummmmmmmmmmmm 38 million. Let's face, Barrack has a voice,
knowledge, and experience that echoes everything that this Country
needs. EIGHT IS ENOUGH!!!
If it's God's will, then it will be!
