I very much understand you guys telling residents and people to not hang around outside but your reporters are outside braving the storm and setting an example to safety. Might be why people are staying cause you cause are telling us to not stay outside and there are objects that are actually dangerous and may hit you or kill you. Please be careful out there and hoep you are getting hazardous duty pay for doing these death reports on hurricanes.

It is an amazing story. Joelle recently underwent major surgery and yet she was out on the streets of Abbeville rescuing dogs that people had chained up and left behind. There is still MUCH to be done. There are many that are forgotten by services.

They are at 6927 Starboard Drive, Lake Charles, LA 70605 - They are amazing individuals who flooded drastically in Rita. The name of the Sanctuary is HECK HAVEN WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTER AND SANCTUARY. Every one should be supporting these organizations. They are brave individuals who don't leave the animals that the state and city and Parishes have forgotten about and provide no services to get them out of harms way. Therefore they stay to protect the animals.

I have a problem with the NEWS all we are hearing about is New Orleans and "big" city news...WHAT ABOUT WHERE THE HURRICANE ACTUALLY HIT... I live in Terrebonne Parish in a town called Chauvin...They are telling me I can't get home until MAYBE Friday...I am sitting in a hotel with a daughter that is sick and a Dad that just had a chemo treatment the day before the storm and is very sick...I want to know WHO is going to help the people paying for hotelrooms who really can't afford it and are putting it on credit cards to pay later when they won't even have a job to go back to for awhile...if they would let us get to our homes we wouldn't have to pay for rooms that we can't afford...all the news is talking about is the politics, the next storm, and New Orleans...WHAT ABOUT TERREBONNE PARISH?

WOW! What a breath of fresh air, Sarah blows Obama away! I have NEVER been so excited about a Vice-Presidential candidate. She will be an excellent Vice-President and a GREAT President in 2016 when she is elected President. Nearly everyone I've talked to about Sarah has only positive things to say about her, and I live in a Democratic state. Even some Hilary supporters here are saying good things about Sarah Palin. I can't wait until November!

It seems as though every time the media attacks her, she only gains more sympathy and support. Thank you Liberal media, and please, please, keep up the Palin attacks.
