Sarah Palin almost always never answered the question being asked, but only answered the question she wished she was asked. Sarah Palin was helpful to the McCain campaign until the American people got to know the real her. Palin is negative and divisive. She's full of hatred. Besides the falling of the economy, she's done a great job of destroying McCain's bid. She's not only lack of knowledge, but lack of intelligence and common sense as well. Like John McCain, Palin is out of touch! She's an insult to the intelligence of the republican party. What kind of mother would use her child with Down Syndrome to win some votes. Talk about desperate measure. What was she thinking when she brought her youngest on stage? She needs to go back to Alaska and reform her dysfunctional family.

I find it simply amazing you fools latch on to this crap when more importantly Obama has raised serious questions about what he's going to do in office. In an interview with San Fran Chronicle he states that any1 wishing to build a coal plant will go bankrupt under his plan and that under his plan the American people can expect to see energy costs drastically rise. Does he not know the consequences of this extreme plan he has in mind? Coal unions and such are flabbergasted at this latest slip of Obama's real plan and they warn that more than 70,000 jobs in Pennsylvania alone would be lost. Sen Obama is going extreme ladies and gentlemen wake the f up. What's more amazing to me is that this little crap is covered by the main stream media but not one word about this new slip of Obama's has been mentioned. MSM in the tank for Obama! That's one reason why McCain is more appealing to me.

Another point of interest. It has been estimated that commercial-scale clean-coal power stations (coal-burning power stations with carbon capture and sequestration) cannot be commercially viable and widely adopted before 2020 or 2025. So let's bankrupt the coal industry before they can even get the clean coal going. If you think clean coal will happen in Obama's or McCain's term your dillusional. The problem is under Obama's extreme cap and trade system ( he admits its extreme by saying it goes further than the European's) coal industries will be fined out of existence before they can have the proper technology which as stated above is estimated to be in 2020-25. THAT'S 12-16 YEARS PEOPLE! Obama's plan will be a disaster.

Can I vote for a Black man?

Yes. Since they acceded to the right to vote in the United States of America, Black People have always and unconditionally voted for Whites. Whether Democrats or Republicans. They have never been or made a problem with that fact. In our turn, we don't need to consider race as a refusal to vote for Obama because he's a Black man.

I'm white American and I'm going to vote for Senator Obama. The skin's color doesn't matter. What's important for the American people is the intelligence, the strong leadership, the charisma and the Obama's vision for our country.

I urge the American people to think about it. The white skin in power has led many of us Americans in poverty and despair. The prestige of American democracy, leadership and influence will be restored by voting for Obama, a son of this great country, who has a different color of skin than me and many of us. With him, our great and legendary worldwide diplomacy will be restored. Europe, Asia, Australia cooled by the failed Bush administration will be the spearhead and the balance of our foreign trade that can help us make import and export of the American business.

Our economy must have support outside.

With Obama as American president, African leaders will collaborate easily with us than with John McCain. The gold, petroleum, copper, diamond, wood and other African riches will easily come to U.S. Don't forget that Europe and China has the control of Africa. More than that, China is finding money and wealth in Africa and borrows it with interest in the U.S. With Obama as president of our country, we'll sell our technology and get from those people a big money to create wealth for our people right here in America.
We will get that part of worldwide market and will be able to develop a true partnership with the African continent more than ever before. This will bring and create jobs and wealth in the USA. That's why, the African people and the whole world, are closely watching our elections.

It's a big chance that America can lose if McCain is in power. Because the African American people and all the black people in the world, will feel once again, rejected as everlasting victims of colonialism, injustice and racism from White people.

With McCain as president of the United States of America, we will surely lose Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa. And our weak economy will move from bad to worse more than what we have now, after eight years of Bush's administration. We don't need to play the race card. Let us play the "unity in the diversity's card" if we want to win, not only an election, but also, the great challenges that our country is facing with.

This is an election about Change, a turning point time of change in the lives of all men and all countries. Life is about change and change involves learning, broadening our horizons and changing our minds in the light of new facts.

In this most provocative, stimulating, and frightening election process, where we have spent hours researching the issues and our candidates' positions on those issues, hours working for our candidate, where we held our breath and prayed for guidance and even miracles, there are few left in the country who do not realize that this is the election of our lives. The America that we were raised to cherish, honor, fight for, and be grateful for every day of our lives, is in crisis on multiple levels and she needs we the voters as much as we need her, indeed, as much as the world needs her.

The news coverage this week provided undeniable acknowledgement of this world wide need for change as country after country expressed their desires for the outcome of our election as though they fervently wished they could step into our voting booths and cast their own vote in our election.

Having invested in our faulty financial and foreign policy systems, they have come to the consensus of opinion that we cannot proceed with the current principles of government that have destroyed the world economy and concurrently destroyed the foundation America was built on, that all men are created equal. We are voting to end the two party system, the party of the wealthy who control the world economy, and the party of the rest of us, the working citizens of the world.

As a political person from a political family who ran for public office, among the many who feels betrayed and heartbroken at the condition our country is in, among the many who still cries hearing the National Anthem, watching our flag is being raised or folded over our brave who have given their life to preserve the American way, I finally feel great hope for that way of life that has all but perished. The citizens of the world still hold that hope as they look on, hoping to get to our shores someday for their opportunity to work hard to provide a decent life for themselves and their families, and participate in the crown of American citizenship…the privilege of casting a vote critical to the global community.

Well, here we are Americans. It's finally time to make the final commitment and cast our votes for whomever we believe will bring the meaning of America back into focus and resolution for its citizens and the world that used to hold our country up as a model of a government worth attaining.

After all our heated discussions and complaining, in the midst of our concerns and fears about our country's and the world's failed economy, the loss of our jobs and pensions, and the legalization of the denial of our constitutional and human rights, our time has come.

Now is the time we can choose hope over fear based on a renewal of commitment and courage as American citizens step up and become proactive about their government by working for their candidate and standing in line for hours to vote. We are asked to trust that change is coming, that intelligent decision making based on the welfare of the country and its populace, not just the enrichment of the few, will actually take place.

Let each of us choose whomever we believe will tell us the truth, follow the guidelines of reconstructing America, conscientiously investigate and examine the facts before making Presidential decisions, and has character enough and love enough for our country to work across party lines cooperatively, and consider the wisdom and guidance of our many experienced leaders.

This is your country and your choice America so stand up and make it by casting your vote. During this election where the debacle of four years ago hasn't been resolved, we still haven't changed our election process from challenges with malfunctioning machines, circulation of false voting information, emerging voter registration problems, and thousands being denied their voting rights even before the election based on false premises, erroneous lists, and selective denial of electorate populations.

Every vote is urgently needed to offset these election challenges or we may not succeed in turning our country around. Now is the time to cast fear, tradition, and indoctrination out and change your party affiliation, change your mind, change your convictions, change your life, change yourself and be true to yourself. Be an independent thinker and vote your conscience not that of those who came before you or the group you associate or affiliate with.

Vote your beliefs, vote your gut intuition, vote your informed decision but remember to keep an open and receptive mind while making that choice.

The amazing thing about the human mind is that is it teachable, flexible, changeable, and constantly downloading thousands of bits of new information to digest, internalize, and use as a basis for future decision making.

Yes, we have all been influenced by our family party traditions and biases both intergenerationally and genetically. Yes, we have all been socialized by the age of seven by our schools, the media, and our religious preferences. Yes, we are constantly being bombarded with the beliefs and dispositions of the media, the internet, and our friends and associates. But we have the power to change ….again…. and… again… and again. Life is change not stagnation. Vote your beliefs but make sure they're yours and not someone else's.

As humans we have the powers and the responsibility of discernment, judgment, and discrimination. We can learn about the critical matters mankind is facing and judge for ourselves what seems to be the best path available with what is being handed to us by the current administration. It is up to each of us to listen to the candidates with discernment, including the wisdom of our intuition, and then choose which platform is consistent, informed, intelligent, and most in alignment with what we want to see happen in our country. At this time, we must be discriminating about who and what we vote for in this election.

As a collective group of voters, we certainly haven't been discriminating in the past. We can no longer afford to "automatically" vote for the familiar good ole boys who have run our country into the ground. This vote must be a conscious one. No matter which candidate you choose, make it a conscious selection after careful deliberation.

Man's executive power is will, free will being the gift we were given in order to make our own decisions about what we believe, how we think, and the actions we take. We are free not follow the crowd, not to be influenced by the media, not to repeat our parent's lives… prejudices and all.

The hope of humanity, especially during this time of radical shift in human consciousness so perfectly choreographed with the shift in the world's model of government, is that as rational compassionate beings, we can learn new information and new ways of doing things as come to understand and respect different and divergent viewpoints instead of just waging war on anyone who disagrees with us. The world is begging for a leader who comprehends that on the deepest level of humanity, we are all moving as one toward a common goal.

Every citizen is creating the future of this country by voting his preference or declining to vote in this election to change the conditions of the world. We're in the end game, the time of fruition, after working all our lives for a better world for our children that includes and cherishes every creature that inhabits the planet. Our vote in this particular election at this particular time is our opportunity en masse to make a difference for the generations to come.

Who am I? I am a citizen of the United States of America who was born in Arizona and now reside in Washington State. I represent a mother, wife, grandmother, sister, cousin, employee, student, poor, and middle class America. I am one of millions of people that voted early.
As I sit here and watch the CNN reports on the election on November 4, 2008, I am thinking about what we, as a nation, represent globally. Although many thinks come to mind, two stay focused in my mind. The first think that comes to mind is Leadership.
So many of the worlds nations look to the United States of America as, among others things, leaders in economy, tradition, military strength, law, and overall integrity. Many of our nations programs and businesses are modeled by developed and "third world countries". The strength of our nation's capability is put in the hands of the future president. Even a stronger statement is the hope of the worlds future is in the hands of the future President of the United States of America.
The second think is that of diversity. The United States of America is one of the most diverse nations in the world. In this writer's opinion, if Barack Obama is elected, the most important message globally, is that the United States of America is maturing, evidenced by getting past the racial tensions that have plagued our nation for so long. How important is that thought for the world? The question brings me back to leadership. In that respect, it is very important.
The world is watching, the world is hoping, the world is planning. Are we as a nation strong enough to elect and support a candidate whom, in our history, diverse in whom he is, including the color of his skin and what that represents in history? Have we matured enough to realize the potential of a man who represents a global vision? I hope we are. We are a nation filled with opportunity. Opportunity comes with responsibility. Are we, as a nation, responsible enough to support that change needed not only in our nation but globally? Barack Obama, in this writer's opinion, is our hope, future, and represents the changes we need as a nation as a leader.
