'The moment,' captured forever in amazing detail »
Remember when we asked you to capture a photo as Barack Obama took the oath of office for our photosynth on Tuesday? Well, the final version of the photosynth has been completed -- and we've actually ended up with three of them, all spectacular. The first one, made up of over 600 photos, combines iReport shots with CNN professional images to create an incredibly detailed photosynth of the moment President Obama took the oath. If you were among the 1.5 million people on the mall, there's a pretty decent chance you'll be able to find yourself in it. The other two photosynths are made up entirely of iReport photos! One shows Obama taking the oath as it was seen from the mall, and the other shows iReporters from around the world watching the moment on television. These stunning images are a testament to your hard work and dedication. Check them out and give yourselves a pat on the back -- you did an incredible job of documenting history.

I`m embarrased it happened in my home town.

I am already sick of Obama this and Obama that. Blah blah blah blah! And his wife is as ugly as a dogs butt and then of course the two rug rats who will probably scribble on the walls! God save us all!

If Americans were to ask this simple question before spending a cent on any purchase they may make...where is this product made?  It may take a little effort, but you can find almost anything that is "Made in the USA"  If for only one month if Americans were to buy only domestic products, what a profound effect it would have on our economy.  Maybe we should have a "Buy American" month.  Go to Google and type in "Buy American"  You will be surprised how many things come up.

Prettywoman,

You portray yourself no better then Countryjules with your ingnorant remarks.  Everyone has a right to voice their own opinion.  I am sure that Countryjules was raised in a racist family who learned to dislike or hate because of skin color, and you have to face it, news coverage and TV in general portray certain people as being so Hollywood perfect (that is if they want it that way).  I am sure that the Obama children may have written or thought about writing on the walls, but who cares.  I hope they write on the White House walls, where the greatest powers of the world sit "It is normalcy, and they're kids." As far as Mrs. Obama being ugly as a dog butt that is the kind of scrutiny you will receive when you are in the spotlight.  Thus, Prettywoman, as much as she is racist against black individuals, you are just as racist and stereotypical against white country people.  I often wonder if racism is greater from blacks to whites in this day and age?  In all respect, intelligence must rise, and racism must stop if this country will ever be great for everyone in its land.

Second life has been a true experience for me sofar.

I’ve been actually been able also to make real money as a  real estater,

however i’m at the virge of retirement (lol).

The whole problem of SL is that it is made too big by spin.

The real thing is that only ~70000 are concurrently online.

From that 70k, ~25% is faked by allowing alt/bot farms over many regions. This is actually prohibited by the CS of Linden Lab, however, owners of such regions have been hardly addressed as it inflates concurrency, users and thus LL’s statistics.

Finding those ‘farms’ is quiet easy actually. All we need to do is visit 50 high traffic areas and some math can be done.

The software (viewer) is really to slow even with the most modern equipment. Positive is that LL has been able to improve stability which has been a major draw back, if not show stopper.

I suggest Linden Lab should:

1 Make the viewer fast.

2 Simplify te use.

3 Make it ready for 1,000,000 concurrent users.

4 Limit multiple logins to 3 per real user maximum.

5 Then start a serious world wide marketing campaign.

Then, only then it would have more chance.

I live in Canada, and this Thursday, Barack Obama is coming to Ottawa for official talks with our Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, and our Leader of the Official Opposition, Michael Ignatieff. I am so proud that of all the countries Obama could have chosen for his first Official visit to another country as President, he chose Canada. I think you Americans are blessed to have Barack Obama as President. We will welcome him appropriately. With all he has on his plate, he's giving us 6-7 hours of his time ! I think that's tremendous. God bless America & Canada.
