Good job, you cheated the system
October 1, 2008 | powell, Tennessee | Vetting explained
Good job. I am so proud of you US senators. You know the people dont want this passed, so you attach it to some stuff needs to be passed. The reason was two fold, this type of bill is suppossed to be passed in the house first, so you modify it.
Obama and McCain, you both disgust me. Obama so much for change, has now shown twice he goes along with the crowd. First with FISA and now with this. At least McCain supported it from the start, letting everybody know his stance. McCain, as much as you claim to be for reform, couldn't stand apart from the president could you. Even the republicans in the house disagree with this plan.
It was a sad day when Americans voted for you two to potentially represent this country.
Senators who voted for this, enjoy your nice sleep, knowing once again the rich get bailed out, and main street pays for it.
I fear for my kids, and my grandkids, who will be paying for this for their whole lives.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
