I watched the debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. From
the perspective of a military veteran, there wasn't a clear winner,
but most definitely a
clear LOSER: the American people.
The debate was replete with campaign rhetoric. While both
Palin and Biden managed to get in their jabs at one another, they
each said as little as possible.
On the war,
Palin pummeled home the notion of surrender or fight forever
until we "win" (whatever that means).
Biden failed to mention that we are killing people based
upon lies. He did, however, firmly state that an Obama
administration would end the war and provide a timeline for doing
so.
Palin hammered home a patriotic banner that clearly claimed
a
McCain administration would follow the failed history she
declares will be changed with her and McCain in the White House.
Did I miss something?
McCain-Palin will maintain the exact strategy in Iraq that
has burned billions of dollars, negatively impacted millions of
lives and has no end in sight ... with U.S. oil companies lining up
to secure land contracts that conveniently were never mentioned.
Something else they forgot to mention:
IMPEACHMENT!
How can so many people fight to impeach and remove two
majorly corrupt leaders in the White House and the two bozos
campaigning to replace them say absolutely NOTHING about holding
them accountable?
Palin is pathetic. Forget the past? Stop looking back?
HELLO! We're dealing with the consequences of bad decisions, bad
management and sordid sinister situations, dear (wink).
Forget who pays for this broken down economy that no one
mentioned had a LOT to do with the Bush administration's multi-year
battle against ALL 50 states Attorneys General,
let's talk about who pays for the lives and limbs lost due
to decisions made based upon a mountain of lies!
Can we stop talking about sexual relations between
consenting adults and
get down to some real stuff? Like , oh ...
life and death!
In response to assignment:
Who won the VP debate?
