If banks are audited all I want to know how is it possible that Citi can buy Wachovia when Citi cannot possibly balance their own books????

We live in Texas and in July 2006 discovered fraud, forgery, grand theft on a home equity loan brokered by Jerry Steven Blackard, Steven Blackard, Steve Blackard (all the same person) Primerica Financial Services, Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington and Pantego, (No one can decide what city their in) Texas , never take legal advise from them and never think of yourself as a friend to the broker! (Citi owned), financed by Citi, Citigroup, Cititrust Bank, Citifinancial Mortgage, appraised by Cheasapeake Title (Citi owned), Settled by Land America Texas One Stop, Land America Title Services and a courtesy closer with Metroplex Title Service Gr. Prairie,. All documents we have had in our possession since July of 2006 have been mailed to us by Land America Title, Citigroup fraud department and then again, by Citigroup fraud department. The problem is the Citigroup fraud departments documents were different. There are two different security instruments, IN TEXAS illegal, two different settlement statements with payments made to different parties and payments changed to describe what the payments were for. Two different loan numbers, different notary signatures, different notary stamp locations, different loan amounts, my signature altered and initialed as if I had done it and all of this is just the beginning. The law firm on documents did not do loan documents for my husband and I both, just for my husband...yet this law firm is listed on all loan documents...one of which if fraudulent. When Citi refused to meet with us in person, this refusal came atleast 12 times, loan payments were stopped until Citi met with us in person to review documents. After their continual refusal to meet with us Citi then tried to foreclose, yet filed false documents with the Tarrant County Courthouse. They committed mail fraud...we received a letter from USPS in Washington that there is no record of CITI's certified letter being mailed...Gee I wonder how that happened? Citi pulled the foreclosure suit and here we sit....over 2 years later. In the summer of 2007 Citi's attorney in Houston Texas stated to us "we were welcomed to send a letter of settlement to Citi." For almost 5 months we didn't make any offer to Citi because it was never about the money it was about answers to the fraudulent documents. Finally, exasperated in December of 2007 we sent a letter of settlement to Citi's litigation attorneys Baxter and Schwartz. Citi still has not responded to the letter of settlement..which is fine because they think they know all of our proof. Their arrogance is beyond the capability to describe, but what can you expect when the only answers come from India...And we wonder why this country is so financially screwed up?? Go Figure!

The mess goes on with the taxes because Citi has the money to pay the taxes...obviously, and when push came to shove only paid a portion of the taxes....enough to keep them out of court the first time. The second court hearing they didn't even show up. Every month we get our,or should I say my husband gets a "monthly newsletter" stating we have an opportunity to refinance the loan...the last one they sent by way of signature UPS.....THEY WILL LOWER THE PAYMENTS BY 25% for the term of the loan. ISN'T THAT NICE OF THEM????!!!!!! We don't even know what is owed, what happen..yet they are willing to refinance the loan??? Citi won't even put in writing how much is owed....I wondered if that's because they don't want to get caught??? I'm sure their last "Monthly Newsletter" was their way of covering their asses.
Anyway you look at it....IT'S A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHY THE LENDERS ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE! If anyone is interested in seeing parts of the loan documents please comment so, I will be happy to post them.
