Vice President Debate
October 3, 2008 | Jupiter, Florida | Vetting explained
Unreal! I watched the debate last night and I am furious. Joe Biden told 8 (that I am 100% sure of) bold faced lies. His statement's about how McCain voted on several issues were the most blatant. After all, Biden is a very intelligent man, I have no doubt he knows the facts. I have spent more time researching the candidates for this election than I have in the past. My trust level is at an all time low. Wall Street lies, Washington lies and the citizens of our country have become complacent about all of it. You know the Obama/Biden people made a conscience decision to lie. They are intelligent, competent, and knowledgeable people. They wouldn't be where they are if they weren't. Even though they knew they would loose some votes by lying, they calculated that more Americans would simply believe it or be too complacent to check it. If we continue to allow people and institutions to lie straight to our faces with no repercussions other than bailouts and winning elections we deserve what we get. I made my mind up last night. It's McCain. I will be adding all my representatives to my address book along with the financial institutions that have what's left of my investments. I will take the time to check up on them, and they will be hearing from me. If we keep giving what we have been giving, we will continue to get what we have been getting. My complacency stops here!
