Radio Phoenix - Lusaka in Zambia Up in flames again

One of the most popular private radio station in Zambia is up in flames again. The radio station which pioneered private radio broadcasting was burnt when is was housed on Society house and now again burnt when housed at Zimco house.
Property worth thousands of US Dollars was reduced to ashes in a fire that gutted Radio Phoenix recording Studios and club phoenix on the 13th floor of ZIMCO House Friday afternoon whose cause in not yet known.
Fire fighters struggled to extinguish fire in a bid to prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building and neighboring buildings
Efforts to obtain reaction from Radio Phoenix senior management proved futile.
