John McCain sells out our wounded soldiers

I was recently asked to name just 1 thing Barack Obama has done and not to list his promises. I spent a little time researching the over 131 pieces of legislation he has introduced as a US Senator and the more prolific work he did in the Illinois Senate. I came up with this and I reprint it here as the more I thought about it, the angrier I got at John McCain because you see, I am a veteran too.

I'll go with the "Dignity for Wounded Warriors Act"
of 2007. Barack Obama did this in response to the appalling conditions he
found at Walter Reed Hospital in visiting our wounded heros
returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
I can think of no greater service a Senator of the United
States can render than to fight for our heroic wounded soldiers who
have fought for our freedom.

The bill has 34 co sponsors and John McCain is sadly NOT one
of them. The bill is tied down in John McCain's committee on Armed
Services and I can think of no greater betrayal of our troops than
John McCain's stalling of this fine legislation.
I was asked for one example so I gave it but there are so many many others.

My hope and prayer is that by reading this, you will see that our troops need you to
vote for Barack Obama and send a message that John McCain's stall
tactics to deny our wounded troops appropriate medical care in
better facilities than are available to Iranian soldiers is
completely unacceptable. I cannot and will not abide someone who
sells out our wounded soldiers as John McCain has done by not
sponsoring this bill and leaving it to die in committee as more of
our troops die everyday fighting for our freedom.
God Bless America, God Bless our Troops and God Bless Barack
Obama.
In response to assignment: Salute to troops
