Its been more than a week sincie Hurricane Ike tore thru cincinnati... our city is still being affected. Lives lost, week long powerouttages, food loss, school closings, road blocks..... the list seems endless. I wanted to bring this natural historic event to you sooner.. but my lack of access to a camera works against me...:).... eitherwho....

Driving thru the city was like watching a movie... the way the trees tore through homes, downed wires, blocked roadways it was surreal!!!... i am quite thankful that we (cincinnati) was not as affected as Texas or New Orleans.. but it gives the people here in the Midwest a better view of what others across the world have been subjected to.
there were couple of out-of-towners that relocated to our area from places that were more familiar with natural disasters...their comment was 'cincinnatians are 'special'..lol' because we treated the storm as tho it couldnt hurt us...which we did... i just said it was a beautiful breezy day...HOnestly we are'nt used to this type of thing.. which is why Hurricane Ike has made history for us...
well there is a part two of this coverage.. so keep checkin back... thanks:)
