If you reflect back on the 2000 GOP race, you’ll remember that it was Karl Rove who was the instrumental force behind the swiftboating of John McCain in South Carolina.Yes, dude was swiftboating before there was even a term for it.

 

Now, McCain has not only said that he is OK with Rove and would listen to his advice, but has also accepted a check for $2,300 from Rove. I’ve always questioned McCain’s pride and dignity after he became Bush’s bitch boy after the Bush camp destroyed his name, but I had no idea that his dignity could be bought for less than the price of a good Plasma TV. That appears to be the case, though.
