Bailout Fallout

Here we go again. Another week and once again the sound foundations of our economy are crumbling to dust. The bailout bill has come and gone and as I sit here eating a ketchup sandwich and drinking nonfiltered tap water it saddens me to report that many CEOs have to suffer through a day of testimony in order to somehow justify the amount of money they've forced themselves to pay themselves. I feel for them! While at times it bothers me that I don't have a mansion and a yacht it's not a disruption of my normal life. These afformentioned CEOs having lived in affluence for so many years must be in shear horror of the fact that they will soon have to learn how to live without. The lesson here is, It's harder to live without something after you've become accustomed to it than it is to live without something you never had to begin with. Shed a tear for these poor souls.
