Honeywell purchases license for Synthetic Vision

Honeywell recently purchased a non-exclusive license for Synthetic Vision U.S. Patent No. 5,566,073, entitled " Pilot Aid Using a Synthetic (Vision) Environment" from Optima Technology Group. Then Honeywell in hopes of cornering the market for (Synthetic Vision) ahead of GARMIN went out and knowingly purchased an infringing company's product from Mercury Computer's VISTANAV that they knew infringed Optima Technology Group's 073" patent. Honeywell had received the infringing information on VISTANAV along with claim charts via a confidential exchange before taking a license from OTG. Something sound very fishy to me, what is Honeywell up too? The SEC should look at this matter as it sounds like and insider deal.
