As some of you may have seen in recent reports, over the past week we have been informally surveying thousands of Americans by text message, asking "Who will win the Presidency."

While certainly not scientific, the surveys highlight the exclusion of cell phone only users (many of which will be voting for the first time this election) from many national polls that rely solely on land lines.

Interestingly, the numbers have, aside from a slight drop following last Thursday's VP debate, shown a steady increase for Obama, the most significant of which is today's leap to 71%, up from 55% just a week ago.

Monday 9/29: 54% of 4,191 respondents, Obama
Tues 9/30: 55% Obama of 4,700 respondents
Wed 9/1: 57% Obama of 5,225 respondents
Thur 9/2: 58% Obama of 5,476 respondents
Fri 9/3: 56% Obama of 5,667 respondents
Mon 10/6: Question posed again
Tues 10/7: 71% Obama of 2,403 respondents
