They need to talk about the economy and need to identify how/why we are in the mess in which we now find ourselves. They need to assign culpability and explain how we can fix the economy and the country.

They need to answer truthfully and not just parrot their stump speeches or a lot of prepared rhetoric/garbage that the American people can't believe.

I can't believe Palin and McCain. The economy is tanking and that woman is racing around the country making up stories about Obama. Dangerously false stories. Her own husband belonged to an organization that wanted to secede from the nation (treason anyone?) and she says Obama associates with terrorists. Apparently, she can't think of anything truthful to say about her own ticket, so she resorts to nasty lies about her opponent. From the response of her audiences, it sounds like they are populated with a bunch of domestic terrorist, militant, KKK types. Is that her "crowd"? Lovely...

She calls herself a Christian. I don't know what Bible she's reading but Jesus never said: hate thy neighbor and spew forth lies. The last time I checked, Jesus said: Satan's the father of lies. (We know who her pappy is.)

Too bad they didn't invite Nader to this debate. He'd make 'em tell the truth and make sure they didn't dodge the questions.
