October 8, 2008 | Woodridge, Illinois | Vetting explained
I had no idea how much waste I truly had in my life until the crunch of everything hit at once! Medical bills for myself, my 2 dogs, and the pay decrease from my company...it all adds up.
I have given up much time, I took up another job at my church so that I can bring my son and not have to pay a babysitter and still earn extra money.
I brew my own coffee and found out that I'm pretty saavy in that department! I make a great cup of joe.
I completely stopped using any form of credit card...
What an amazing difference my world has become! Still broke but not yet destitute...

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
