Keep America Heard I feel it would be cheaper to give everyone one a million dollars. The population of the United States is about 350 million people. If the government gave every person in the United States one million dollars, it would then only cost the government bailout 350 million, instead of 700 billion. In Addition, the people would be able to keep their homes, Banks could get their money, and give out credit. That would save the government 699 billion 650 million dollars.
