Obama Smear Halted by Protest

While John McCain appears to now have toned down his rhetoric regarding Obama's "connection to terrorism and being un-American", the undertones were and still are with us. This sign from Western North Carolina (Hendersonville) was removed by its owner on 10/6/8 only after fifty or more community protestors underscored the lies, unjust fear, and ignorance of such a display while garnering local media attention. Obama was in the area and held a rally at nearby Asheville, NC on 10/5/8 with 28,000 in attendance.
