Heavy Snow in Billings MT

After three days of constant snow, right now it's falling very lightly, and the driveway we shoveled this morning is almost dry! Trees and branches are down all over the neighborhood. This morning the power was out for 5 hours. Glad we have a wood-burning fireplace!
We have 2-feet-plus of standing snow outside. This is the most snow I've seen in one snowfall in 20 years living here. It's been so dry the past 7 years that this is just astonishing.
Billings is known climate-wise as the "banana belt" of Montana. It is often the warmest place in the state.
