Early voting in Lake County
October 15, 2008 | Gary, Indiana | Vetting explained
Lake County early voting is underway at several satellite offices including Gary courthouse. I shot video at the courthouse. I was told voters were welcome until 3:30 p.m.
Other locations are Hammond 232 Russell St and East Chicago 3711 Main St.
Today, I listened to Michelle Obama's speech in Fort Wayne, Ind. and several points struck me:
Michelle said Barack has tacked issues we as Americans haven't dealt with in ages--with respect and honor.
Michelle said Barack Obama will be the underdog in this election until he is sitting in the White House.
Michelle reminded everyone to vote early and help the elderly and disabled get to the polls on Election Day, Nov. 4th.
Michelle reminded us that we can go to that site to find our nearest polling area.
Michelle also mentioned that we as Americans have changed the way we look at politics during this election. She encouraged us to remain engaged and ask questions.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
