On the attachment you will see that Discovery Health has agreed to accept Adrian as a member but..................................................... 1. There is a 3 month waiting period !!! 2. No claim related to his premature birth for 1 year will be paid!!!!!! As you know, this is of no use to us. It will mean we will have to pay his premium for 1 year before we will be able to claim anything from them. I have also added a photo of Adrian. He is an innocent baby who needs medical care and it is in their hands to supply him with that. His mother cannot afford it!!!!!!!!!! What I need from you now is to please help me in making it clear to Discovery Health that we need Medical Aid assistance for the sick and not only for the healthy. If you support us in getting Adrian on to the Medical Aid from his date of birth please add your name on to this list when forwarding it to all the names on your address list. Then not sure if this child is in the care of a Netcare hospital, but possible they should bring this to the attention of Dr Richard Friedland, CEO of Netcare to look at this case and reduce the costs thereof. 486.
