Last Delta Queen Cruise to Galveston Island
October 25, 2008 | Lockport, Illinois | Vetting explained
In late November, 2004 right after Thankgiving, The Delta Queen made, what would be its last cruise for some time between New Orleans and Galveston Texas. This is a photo of the Delta Queen at the dock in Galveston Pier 23 for the first December weekend for the Dickens on the Strand Festival. The next fall, the area between New Orleans, Port Arthur and Lake Charles would be devestated by Katrina and the Delta has not traveled the intercoastal water way since then. I have many more photos of our cruise.
