On April 16th, 2008, 110 students from Annunciation School in Washington, DC had the honor and privilege of singing "Happy Birthday" to Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican Nunciature before his departure to the White House in the morning. Led by choir director Denyce Daniels, the students sang their birthday greeting in German and English; followed by an encore performance of "Donna Nobis Pacem" in Latin. The students were joined by their principal, Marguerite Conley, and Monsignor Lockman of Annunciation Church.
