Immigration Reform
October 28, 2008 | Oceanside, California | Vetting explained
Living currently in Southern California, and having been raised in Colorado I am familliar with the far reaching human consequences of our country's broken immigration system for both citizens and non-legal citizens. Both The Executive Branch and Legislative Branch of our government have turned a blind eye, in my view for too long. Since we exist as a nation of laws,if we don't fix the system and once again follow the Constitution, it is not going to matter much what else gets done within a new administration.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
