My husband and I have jobs...our taxes are taken out of each pay.

We  can visit our Doctor's office  as often as we feel necessary. Blood tests, examinations, prenatal care, mammograms, Bone density surgeries ..Pediatricians for our little guy,( all but elective )are covered Medications covered...VASECTOMIES

Can anyone explain why our employer pays some..... ,and we pay some...... every month (which by the way, you don't notice ,when you get used to it! through taxes on a monthly basis.)

Whats so wrong....Prenatal care....really all care and visits ...even..PEDIATRICIANS....ALL EXCEPT ELECTIVE SURGERY!

What is wrong with the Canadian system...Wouldn't you employed people love to not worry. Every time a Doctors Visit is required...Especially when required  for our babies, Mom's panic! sometimes because we don't know and more times because our babies are sick! I rather err on the side of caution....and not have to worry about money!

I would never have to make a choice about I am worried about our baby but ..we don't really have the funds! That's Cruel!

*If our system of care is Socialistic so be it!*

Whats wrong with it,,We live longer....if you believe stats?

I JUST WANT THE BEST FOR MY Neighbor's....YOU... AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DUMP ON OUR SYSTEM?

We also look after the unemployed!

FYI: 10 years ago when I was looking for a M,D. I phoned our College of Physicians and asked for a Doctor who had just finished Studies(i do not expect everyone to feel like me) I felt a new Dr. was more thorough, more recently versed in all new modalities. and it so happens we are the same age and that to me means continuity in care...

I feel my Family have the Best Doctor on Earth...

So America why not you....don't you want what I have described for you?
