NO WAITING @ POLLS in Oceanside California
November 4, 2008 | Oceanside, California | Vetting explained
It was misting a little this morning in Oceanside CA but no waiting at all in the lines. I live four doors down from polling location and I was in line no more than five minutes at exactly 7:00am our time. It was absoulutely the easiest and fastest voting experience I ever had.
For some strange odd reason, I feel cheated out of the experience of waiting in long lines and being able to meet and chat with others waiting just like me. Only experience I had was watching a volunteer have problems looking up voters names because she left her glasses at home!! We laughed about that....
I am going back/forth looking out of my window checking the street to see if people are coming and filling the streets up exciting but NOTHING!! I guess everyone early voted or the rush will hit us later at lunch time or after people get off of work...I will be waiting....

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
