THIS IS NOT THE TYPE OF POLL PROBLEM ANYONE EXPECTS TO SEE IN OUR SMALL TOWN OF JUST A LITTLE OVER 1000 PEOPLE WE HAD A FIRE THAT REQUIRED THE HELP OF ALL THE FIRE COMPANIES WITHIN 20 MILES. ABOUT 13 COMPANIES WITH AT LEAST 40 TRUCKS THE FIRE WAS ONLY FEET AWAY FROM THE POLLING PLACE THE ELECTICITY WENT OFF. THE FIRE WAS STILL BURNING AT 6 AM . THE STREETS AROUND IT WERE STILL CLOSED EVEN AS THE POLLS WERE TO BE OPENED . THE POLLING PLACE HAD TO BE MOVED AT THE LAST MINUTE. EVEN THOUGH SIGNS WERE POSTED AND THE WORD WAS PUT OUT ON THE LOCAL NEWS PEOPLE WERE STILL SHOWING UP AT THE REGULAR POLLING PLACE,PEOPLE STILL GOT TO VOTE BUT IT CERTAINLY THREW A WRENCH IN WORKS.
