This is my version of the Gettysburg address before Senator Barack Obama gets elected as the first black president in the history of the United States of America.  First and foremost, I want to thank the United States federal government for three main reasons, and six reasons in total:   A.) The United States Dept. of Education: _ _ Just like the Dept. of Justice is a Cabinet level agency under the federal executive branch, the United States Dept. of Education is a Cabinet level agency under the federal executive branch.  George W. Bush is always talking about ?no child left behind.?  Well, I was not left behind!  I was 17 years old when I started Brown University in Providence, RI.  I was a straight A student at Gonzaga College High School and I could have been the valedictorian but I was too shy and timid to speak at the high school graduation.  Well, I am obviously no longer shy and timid.    My final grade point average (GPA) was a 3.96.  I was accepted into several schools including Duke University, Pittsburgh University, etc., but I chose Brown University.  Brown University gave me several grants and I also took out federal Perkins and Stafford loans in addition to Sallie Mae.  In essence, the U.S. Dept. of Education paid for me to go to an Ivy League Institution.  How many people around the world get to go to an Ivy League institution?  The most important people in the world go to Ivy League Schools.  Bill and Hillary Clinton went to Harvard University; so did Senator and President-elect Barack Obama.  George W. Bush went to Yale University.    The U.S. federal government also paid for me to go to law school at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, FL vis-?-vis the Access Group/Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation (KHESLC).  How many people in America or the world get to go to law school and graduate?  Very few!  ?and I am grateful to the United States federal government for giving me these opportunities.  In addition, the U.S. federal government paid for me to go to Madrid, Spain and Seville to study Comparative Citizenship and International Debtor/Creditor Relations.    Furthermore, the U.S. federal government also paid for me to go to Buenos Aires, Argentina to study International Business Transactions, International Sales, and International Health and Human Rights with the University of Tulsa.  We also met with the ambassadors and consulates at the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires when Secretary of State Colin Powell was in office back in July-August of 2001.    I believe that Gen. Colin Powell will be either Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense under an Obama administration.  I now owe the U.S. Dept. of Education in excess of $126,000 for my very expensive education: the U.S. federal gov?t paid $126,000 to saturate my brain with information and I want to return the favor!  What better way to pay off my loan than to go to Hollywood and sell some records and pay off that $126,000 in a lump sump payment?   B.) The Department of Health and Human Services/National Institutes of Health:   I want to thank the Dept. of Health and Human Services for hiring me back in the 1990?s.  I worked for Dr. Peter Spooner, Dr. Leslie Reinlib, and Dr. Patrice Desvigne-Nickens under the NIH/NHLBI/DHVD.  I worked for Ms. Betsy Singer under the NIH/NIDDK/OHRR.  I worked for Dr. Cynthia Dunbar and Dr. John Tisdale under the NIH/NHLBI/Division of Hematology.    More recently, I worked for Ms. Annette Hanopole at NIH/NICHD/Grants office and for Mr. Jim Dickens at NIH/NCI/Budget Office.  While working for Dr. Cynthia Dunbar and Dr. John Tisdale, I extracted DNA using a Qiagen Kit, ran samples through an Avidin Column, performed OD spectrophotometry, autoclaved samples, performed Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoreses (PAGE), performed Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR), and worked with the progenitors of spleen cells.    I also worked for a Dr. Srevalsen at Georgetown University Hospital where I counted cells using a hemacytometer, and worked with oncogenes in a line of mouse fibroblast cells.  In addition, I worked for a Dr. Winslow Seale at Children?s Hospital in Washington, D.C..  Under Dr. Winslow Seale?s supervision, I worked with High Performance Liquid Chromotography (HPLC).  More specifically, I worked with the ratio of lecithin to sphingomyelin (L/S Ratio) in the neonatal surfactant of the tracheal aspirates of neonates with Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS).    I wanted to be a doctor like one of my best friends Gbolahan Okubadejo of Pittsburgh, PA who is an orthopedic surgeon.  One of my other friends from Brown, Sara Collins, is a cardiologist.  I am sure that she could help out Vice President Dick Cheney with his heart surgery!  Ba Humbug!  Ebenezer Scrooge!!!!   C.) The Social Security Administration:   Just like the U.S. Dept. of Justice is a Cabinet level agency under the federal executive branch of government, the Social Security Administration is an independent agency under the federal executive branch.  I want to say thank you to Dornita McKinnon and her staff of federal employees at the Social Security Administration.    For the last two years, the Social Security Administration has provided me with a ?safety net? or a ?safe haven? as I receive a check every month from the Dept. of Treasury in the amount of $684.00.  $684.00 is barely enough to survive off of but it is better than being homeless!  I have been to Montgomery General Hospital in their psychiatric ward in addition to Washington Adventist Hospital and to Laurel Regional Hospital for their outpatient psychotherapy.    All of the psychiatrists who I have seen have concluded that I have bipolar disorder and that I am schizoaffective and I have taken just about every medication including lithium, seroquel, depakote, Abilify, risperdal, zyprexa, neurontin (Gabapentin), lamictal, clonazepam, fluphenazine, prozac, etc..    The U.S. Dept. of Treasury oversees the IRS and CIA so obviously the Dept. of Treasury is a powerful Cabinet level agency.  Secretary Henry Paulson and his $700 billion bailout plan make that point very clear!  Thank you to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and Dept. of Treasury for saving my life in times of psychiatric difficulties!   D.) The Nuclear Regulatory Commission:   My father has won several awards for his service at the NRC, so I want to thank the NRC for hiring my father over there in Rockville, MD.  He had been working over there since the Reagan Administration, and had a security clearance.  My father?s best friends worked at the NRC like the late Bart Buckley and Khalid Shaukat   E.) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)   Thank you to the FDA for giving my mother business at the Smith Group, Inc. by sub-contracting with her as we sent to temporary employees (?temps?) to the FDA.  We also had a blanket purchase order (BPO) with NIH and sent temps over there in addition to having a contract with the Montgomery County and Prince George?s County governments.   F.) Presidents Rutherford B. Hayes, Grover Cleveland, & James Garfield   Thank you to Presidents Rutherford B. Hayes, Grover Cleveland, & James Garfield for appointing my ancestor John Moss as justice of the peace after he served the Captain of the Battle of Gettysburg.  John Moss often practiced law for free in Anacostia in SE Washington and was obviously a Washingtonian like Benjamin Banneker who designed D.C..    Some politicians only know the inside of the Oval Office and West Wing, but John Moss was a lawyer in Anacostia in the heart of Washington, D.C. so my family is definitely a family of Washingtonians since John Moss.
