It is about time..
November 7, 2008 | Arizona | Vetting explained
On novermber 5th 2008, one man was elected president, that man was Barack Obama, and even though I voted for John McCain I am still pleased that in this election we had more voter turn out then ever before.
With voting numbers reaching the astonishing 122 million people showing up to the polls. that is 21 million more than in 2000. Is this cause to the troubling economic time our country faces, or just people finally realizing that their vote really does make a differince. Personally i belevie it is a comination of both.
I do have to give a nod to president Obama, to enstilling a feeling of need to get out and vote to those who usually do not, because with out those who did vote this election may have been different, but now is a critical time we must instill in these people that voting is a nessicity and a responsibility to this country.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
