General Colin Powell for Secretary of Defense
November 7, 2008 | Tucson, Arizona | Vetting explained
"Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence." - General Colin Powell
I think President Elect Barack Obama should consider General Colin Powell for Secretary of Defense. He has a strong character and strong love for his country. He is not afraid to express how he feels and does not worry about being politically correct. He does what is right. I gained such respect for General Colin Powell when he conceited his position in the Bush Administration. He did not agree with the way President Bush was running America and he was not going to be a part of that. That shows a lot of courage and honor. President Elect Barack Obama, I ask that you please consider General Colin Powell for Secretary of Defense; I believe this would be a very beneficial choice for not only your cabinet but America as well.
