According to information taken from a compiled database of Prop 8 campaign contributions received as of November 3, 2008, out of 103 donors to the Prop 8 campaign who list DDS after their name, 102 of them donated in support of Prop 8, the proposition to ban gay marriage in California. The total amount donated was $142,921, with the average donation of $1.401.19. The three top donations were each $10,000. One dentist in San Diego donated $200 to the "No on 8" campaign: Andrew Zakarian, DDS Oppose $200.00 CA San Diego 8/25/2008 I'm not drawing any conclusion from this information because there may have been other Dentists who didn't put their DDS credentials after their name when submitting their contribution.
