Do you believe or have you seen one?
Now I know this subject is open to serious ridicule and outright harassment but the fact of the matter is, many believe they exist or have actually seen one (flying objects not identified or owned by governments of this world).
I want to share a story with you and I would like to hear yours (if you have one). Thirty (30) years ago when I was stationed in the United Kingdom a few friends of mine used to car pool back and forth to work together (like is often done now). Due to limited available open housing for lease or rent, many of us had to take what was available and often it was great distances from the work site, mine is such a story.
I lived near a town called Braintree the town was nor far from an old RAF Base called RAF Wethersfield, there were many USAF housing units there, I and many folks lived there. At this time in my life, I was working ‘swing shift", I and and my buddy Mike Bugno (who was a weapons specialist) were riding together this night, we were about fifteen minutes from the entrance of the housing gate when we saw this strange, very bright light.
I spotted it first, I mentioned it looked like a huge landing light from a Cargo aircraft and a cargo base (RAF Mildenhall) was not that far from us (as the crow flies) so I just assumed it was an aircraft light that kept getting closer, as it got closer, it became much brighter. It seemed like I no sooner brought this to the attention of Mike and the ‘thing" was over our heads. I kid you not, it happened in the wink of an eye.
It just hovered without sound above our heads, it was so bright, we could not look up at it. We stopped the vehicle and got out and we both tried to look up at it but could not. It must have been about fifty feet above us, just hitting us with very, very bright light. We looked up (or tried) to look up for about a 20 second period of time from, all of a sudden I hear jet engines coming from behind me.
Mike and I turned around to see two British F4 Phantoms flying right at us (they were very easy to see the way the sky was lit up). We could see the "Union Jack" flag panel on the tail of the aircraft (they were now that close). A moment later as we looked up again at this ‘thing" which we could never tell its real shape because it was too bright. It all of a sudden shot with speed I had never seen before to our left (headed towards London). To my surprise, the British F4s tried to follow, that was not happening really, they could never catch this thing. It appeared to race across the sky like a "star wars light saber", you know, how you move it and the light reminds behind for a moment, it was that fast.
AS the F4's chased it, they (aircraft) were about half way to London and this thing came back right over us in a flash (amazing speed, amazing) hovered for a moment. Then it shot straight up into the atmosphere, we never saw it again. Thirty minutes later as we listened to the BBC News at our homes, hundreds of UFO reports came in - weird huh!
