GET RID OF TEACHERS
November 19, 2008 | Columbia, South Carolina | Vetting explained
GET RID OF TEACHERS that BELIEVE that my friends and I should PLAY IN PRE-K and that "IT IS THE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER'S JOB TO TEACH ME HOW TO WRITE MY NAME AND ABC RECOGNITION."
All you parents out there that thnk that Barack Obama's election means that YOUR CHILD MAY NOW have the opportunity to BECOME PRESIDENT ONE DAY.......FORGET IT. Unless you are planning to have your child taught inside the US as well as OUTSIDE the US like President Obama's mother did. I KNOW FOR A FACT......FOR A FACT that ALOT of teachers are teaching your 3rd grade children on 1st grade level. All YOU SEE ARE THE GOOD GRADES coming home. YOU DON'T KNOW THAT your child is not being taught on grade level until he/she fails your state's standardized test and is RECOMMENDED FOR SPECIAL ED.
Parents: PRINT A COPY OF YOUR STATE's grade level CURRICULUM STANDARDS FROM THE INTERNET. ASK YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER TO WRITE DOWN THE STANDARD THAT SHE "SAYS" SHE IS TEACHING EACH DAY. COMPARE THE STANDARD THAT SHE SAYS WITH YOUR CHILD'S WORK FOR THAT DAY AND MAKE SURE THAT THEY MATCH.

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
