Ok so  was reading post today about The Gm Crap, and came across some words I hate hearing UNSKILLED LABOR, I find it very demeaning.  I'm sure others do to.. I have heard unskilled labor is a drag on our society, And sometimes we as unskilled workers earn more than we should (because we are Unskilled). I don't really understand why you would seriously say we have no skills, it feels as though you are talking down to us!  I may not have a College degree in anything but I can tell you Unskilled workers are some of the hardest working people I have ever met in my life! WE have skills. In conclusion if you read this you will find WE ARE THE BACKBONE we are THE HEAVY LIFTERS. WE ARE THE TAX PAYER AND WE ARE AMERICA and most Unskilled get paid Minimum wage or tiny bit higher and don't get Benefits at all!

taken from an article online,,.. These are trying times for blue-collar workers -- plumbers, hairdressers, waitresses. While they may be praised, respected or even well- tipped for their hard work and integrity, it is not exactly assumed they have much going on upstairs. In this so-called new economy, intelligence is reserved only for highly skilled workers -- techies, businessmen and good ol' doctors and lawyers. Who has time to think about the cognitive abilities of a carpenter when there's a preschool director to bribe, an SAT class to attend and a master's degree -- also known as the "new B.A." -- to get?
