Here's who SHOULDN'T be in Obama's cabinet
November 21, 2008 | Medford, Oregon | Vetting explained
Let's begin with the Secretary of Defense, who should be more appropriately named Secreatary of War Robert Gates.
Secretary of Defense
This version of Rumsfeld II is a former CIA guy. His second in command is former CIA. In case Americans haven't been paying attention over the past couple of generations, these guys cannot be trusted! Can you say, George H. Bush? Former CIA. These are liars. Haven't we had enough of the clandestine agendas over the past eight years?
Secretary of State
Here is where we have a problem Houston. Hillary is a Clinton. The last I heard the Clintons had eight years in office and we bombed Iraq every single stinking one of them. Then Hillary grabs a Senate seat by walking across a cushy carpet into New York and smiling and waving like she was Lady Liberty herself. The reality is the Clintons cannot be trusted. Bill maintained a continuance of the Bush policies overseas. He had our military fighting FOUR battle fronts simultaneously. For those of you with lax memories: Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Bosnia and Yugoslavia. Oops! That's MORE than four. Sorry. I got started counting and couldn't stop. Bill told our boys they would be home from Bosnia in a year. Last I looked ... they were still there.
The Clintons are a lying, untrustworthy family hell-bent on remaining in power. And if the Bush family has anything to say about it, they will.
ANOTHER BAD APPLE for Secretary of State is the current No. 2 guy John Negroponte. This guy can't be thrown out fast enough. He QUIT his job as the top lying dog atop all 16 lying secret agencies and slipped under cover behind Condy Rice in the State Department. We haven't heard hide nor hair from this dog since. And that doesn't send your journalistic antennas up?
Another guy you DON'T want anywhere near the White House is Bill Richardson. Talk about dredging up some old Clinton dirt! Let's just let sleeping dogs lie in New Mexico.
For GOODNESS SAKE NO NANCY PELOSI
If anything, Pelosi ought to be fired for her conspiracy to protect the Liar in Chief. The blood of many veterans are on her hands. John Conyers needs to keep his head down too. We all know the power inherent in the chair of the House Judiciary Committee. Together, Pelosi and Conyers pulled a con job on the American public and undermined Kucinich's efforts to carry out the will of the people.
If Obama reaches into Congress and pulls out anybody other than the heroes who rose up to impeach the monster in office, then he will have started off on the wrong foot.
The bottom line here is simple: If they've been anywhere near the White House in any previous administration, they need to find other work. In this economic climate, where major corporations are booting tens of thousands of families into the streets, it would be good for those professional politicians who live off the public dole to get real jobs now.
