With Thanksgiving only a few days away, I thought it would be a good time for "the Cue" to sit back, take a refreshing sip of Point Beer, and reflect upon the past year. Sure, despite the promises and guarantees from various manufacturers, I've suffered even further hair loss during the past 12 months, but I still think it's been a good year. And there's really only one reason for this: Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin has made politics fun - and funny - again. NEVER in my lifetime has a politician been so ripe for satire. Whether she's promoting abstinence-only sex education while her teenage daughter gets knocked up, accusing Obama of "palling around with terrorists" when her own husband has been a member of a fringe political party promoting secession of Alaska from the US, falsely claiming she was against things that she clearly had supported, or just using ridiculous antiquated expressions like "you betcha", she never failed to amuse me - or the entire nation for that matter. Christmas is only a month away, and my dream present is to learn that she's forming a committee to explore a POTUS run for 2012. May she never leave the political spotlight!
