Handmade Holidays Quality Time Priceless

School was out for the holidays and the kids were with Grandma. We decided to do some arts and crafts and make handmade gifts for their Great Grandma and grandparents living away. What to do? what to do? A run to our favorite craft store gave us the idea for night light snowmen. A quart mason jar, a couple of cool heat glue guns, a short string of clear lights each, a package of socks and all the bobble and bling this grandma could afford, and we were over the river and through the dale. We spent the afternoon with Christmas music playing in the background, cookies and hot chocolate and popcorn, building the gifts, laughing and just sharing sweet time together. The gifts were a treasure and the time together, building memories that last forever are priceless.
