Appeal to Publicize an SOS Call for a 17 year old Armed Robbery Victim in Liberia
Dear CNN,
I would like to use this time to kindly appeal to the
management of CNN to please have posted on its website an SOS Call
on behalf of a 17 year old boy, Sackie Nyanquoi, who is a victim of
an armed robbery attack on his Perry Street home in Monrovia,
Liberia in April 2008 at which time Sulfuric Acid was wasted on
him.
I learned about Sackie during the early morning hours of
October 3, 2008 when I was informed by my mother that a 17 year old
boy (Sackie Nyanquoi) had called in on a local radio show, Truth FM
Conversation with JKB announcing an SOS call to save him as he
needs to undergo plastic surgery to safe his face.
I visited him the next morning at the JFK Medical Center ,
Room 218A ICU and was sadden by the severe damage on the body of
little Sackie especially on his face.
Attached are photos of Sackie taken when I visited him again
on October 5, 2008.
Sackie and his parents are ordinary Liberians and cannot
afford the cost attached to give him a surgery.
We will highly appreciate assistance of any kind to help
little Sackie.
To contact Sackie the below numbers can be call:
Sackie (Victim's) - 2316605712 / 2316377217
Satta Tamba (Victim's Mother) - 2316558143
Thanks for the opportunity afforded me to mail this SOS Call.
Best Regards,
Michael M.D. Richards
