The Threat to CEOs; Real or Fiction?
The news media reports that US auto company CEOs had to fly to DC
on private corporate jets (to beg for $25B in bailout funds)
because of security concerns.
Exactly how many CEOs (auto or otherwise) over the past 50 years have died or been kidnapped on commercial flights at the hands of the general taxpaying public? Hum?
Who would want to harm such "nice, honest, capable" CEOs? Who indeed?
Perhaps the only "real threat" to the US auto CEOs is the threat of "bankruptcy" following the "reality of incompetence".
