After the Philippine Congress junked, the impeachment complaint, against Philippine President Gloria Arroyo, based on alleged graft on a Three Hundred Million Dolar China deal, alleged election cheating, alleged seven hundred million pesos fertilizer scam, alleged railway deal, alleged extra judicial killings, alleged gold reserve contract anomaly and the five billion pesos quedancor swine scam, two catholic bishops called on the the Filipino people to be like the Thai protesters in Bangkok. The two bishops said- "We are so disappointed with the junking of the case. If there are no more legal means, then we resort to extra legal or extra constitutional means" "Let us show that we do not approve of what is happening and that we don't like it.
