Moab, Utah
November 29, 2008 | Vetting explained
Moab, Utah is said to be the most photographed place in the U.S. and after my first visit in 2005, I can believe it. These are just a random few of the hundreds of shots taken during my 4 day visit.
Two major National Parks (Canyonlands and Arches) are just a few miles out of town and are a must to see if you visit. Dead Horse Point State Park is well worth the entry fee as well.
The town of Moab is equally as welcoming and interesting as the beautiful landscape. The people are friendly, lots of places for great food, and clean places to sleep.
I went in October, a wet month, and the rain fall makes the red rocks even more richly colored.
When you go is less important than, going. So go!

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
