Black Friday....NO WAY!

The term "Black Friday" has always conjured up evil images and in no way does it encourage me to hit the stores. I know for businesses, this is the day that hopefully the scales will tip in their favor in terms of profits for the year, but for shoppers, the term just doesn't work, at least not for me. The tragic deaths that occurred this year certainly fits the term, but hey, do I want to associate going shopping with blackness or death or being shoved or trampled over? No way. I'll leave that to all the crazy shoppers who think they're going to hit the jackpot with super fantastic deals. The Friday after Thanksgiving will continue to be the one day of the year that I enjoy my leftover turkey, be a couch potato, and steer far, far away from all stores.
