Four Christmases - A Chick Flick is not as bad as feared!

As they say, tonight was "Chicks Choice", so we took the ladies to this weekend's top holiday "Dramady" draw, "Four Christmasas", starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. I was expecting the worst, with a 41 on "Metacritic", and a low rating on "Rotton Tomatoes", But guess what? It was really not that bad for men after all. I think this was primarly due to the many "Toilet Humor" scenes throughout the film, and as most ladies know, most men love these types of gags. Farting and piss squirting babies, boobs falling out, man fights, etc.
Vince and Reese are yuppies who do not want kids, and generally hate their disfunctional families. During all the Holidays, they travel together around the world, the "Ultimate Tourists". But this time, when leaving for Figi at SFO, heavy fog comes in, and all flights are cancelled. A news reporter interviews them on the delays, and all of the extended families see them on the TV News. Suddenly, the cell phones start buzzing. Come to my house! Before they know it, they have to do four chritmasas in one day. (Both sets of parents are divorced).
Robert Duvall is excellent as Vince's Dad, and there two surprise guest stars that are big in the world of Country Music: Tim MacGraw plays one of his brothers, and Dewight Yokum is a preacher. If you have a disfunctional family like me, you will laugh how each of the 4 Christmasas turns into a nightmare!
The jokes were enough to keep me laughing, so lets give this one a B -. The ladies agreed, a B -. Bob was noncomittal, maybe a B?
See you next week "At The Movies"!
