The Red Sox Room
November 30, 2008 | Peachtree City, Georgia | Vetting explained
I had an empty, unfinished room in my basement and my wife allowed my brother and I to turn it into a "man-cave" of sorts to commemorate our all-time favorite sports team, the Boston Red Sox! The replica scoreboard was purchased from Chowdaheadz.com. The fact that it's magnetic is a really cool feature in that you can change teh scores to suit a particular game you might want to remember. We currently have Yankees vs. Red Sox on July 24, 2004, the one where Varitek beat the crap out of A-Rod. My brother and I built the replica Pesky's pole out of some scraps from Home Depot. We're pretty pleased with how it turned out. I've still got to finish the trim in the room and get some furniture and a TV, but it's almost ready to be enjoyed for many years to come...!!!
