Remembering Al-Quds Day in Kano state, Nigeria.

The people on the pictures are the followers of Shiet, one of the popular Muslims groups in the World after Sunni.

They gather every year to mark the day and use to go round the street of the Zaria Town and Kano city where they have their majority in Nigeria. In these pictures: they are carrying a statue of President Bush and Former Israeli boss Ehud Olmert and they also burnt US and Israel flags".

Al-Quds Day is an annual event opposing Israel's control of Jerusalem. Anti-Zionist demonstrations are held on this day in some Muslim and Arab countries and by Muslim and Arab communities around the world, but especially in Iran where the occasion was first suggested by Ayatollah Khomeini. (Iran is the largest Shiet populace in the world).
