Handmade fashion hats for girls

I definately believe that there is a special quality to handmade items, especially if theres a passion and love of creating. I love designing and creating hats for girls, so much so that i decided to begin offering them for sale. I just recently began selling on kidsontop.etsy.com.
One year one of my daughter had a sleepover, so i had a house full of 9 yr old girls. I decided to bring out all my fabric and make a custom hat for each of the girls. It was great seeing what combinations of fabrics they chose. I love seeing the creativity of a child.
This year i plan to give special one of a kind hats for my daughters (i have 4) as well as all of us making homemade fudge, truffles and cookies to give to friends. Last Christmas i made a bomber hat for one daughter, and a blanket for another, and one daughter designed a dress for her older sister. Those gifts are actually what we all remember and appreciate most :)
