Hillary for Secretary of State
(CNN) -- President-elect Barack Obama on Monday announced
Sen. Hillary Clinton as his pick for secretary of state, calling
her an "American of tremendous stature who will have my complete
confidence."
I am really pleased Obama has picked Hillary for secretary of state. Even though I voted for Hillary in the primaries and was very disappointed she didn't get the Democratic nomination, Obama and Hillary are very close on the issues I care about. I could never have voted for McCain/Palin as their stance on the issues is totally different than those of Obama/Hillary.
Obama is really putting together a strong team that will lead out of the disaster of the last 8 years.
