Are they kidding? I LOVE TiVO!!!
December 2, 2008 | Fredericksburg, Virginia | Vetting explained
TiVO is a fabulous thing! I can control the shows the boys watch without having to schedule the TV time to fit when shows are on. I can record shows I want to watch when I have the time to watch them- usually not when the shows I like are on.
But then, I've always been a "TV is for my entertainment" sort of person, not a "I have to watch this show!" type of person. I have lots of other things to do, and so do my boys. If I happen to be something I'm going to be sitting still for- like folding laundry- then TV is a great way to get through the task and have fun. Or pull out the popcorn one night and have a popcorn party with a good movie.
Since when was TV the end-all be-all of living?

The best iReports get vetted and used on CNN platforms.
The label “Not vetted by CNN” lets you know that this story hasn’t been both checked and cleared by a CNN editor.
iReport stories that have a red "CNN iReport" stamp in the corner have been vetted and
cleared. That means they've been selected and approved by a CNN producer to use on CNN,
on air, or on any of CNN's platforms.
